Review! It Cosmetics QVC “TSV” Today’s Special Value January 19, 2015

Share Button

Here is my review of the brand new kit from It Cosmetics that will be available on Monday, January 19th, 2015 at a very “Special” One Day Only price for $59.94 and there’s an Easy Pay option which splits up the payments into two, plus shipping & handling! The pre-order Item number is #A262481 click Here to order early before everyone else does starting midnight EST on 1/19!  I highly recommend not waiting to place your order so that you can choose your correct foundation color since these usually sell out! There’s also an Auto Delivery option which means you can lock in the TSV price for TWO full years and you will receive the kit every 90 days (but you can easily change it to whatever schedule you want or cancel at any time!) but the angled brush only comes with the first shipment. Click Here for the Auto Delivery pre-order option.

I know many of you already decided to order the kit as soon as you saw my Sneak Peek video  so I’ve also included my personal tips on how to use the products as well as how they compare to other existing foundations and concealers from It Cosmetics that you may already own! Enjoy the video and thank you so much for watching!

All products are brand new & making their debut on QVC in this kit!

CC+ Eye, Color Correcting Full Coverage Cream
CC+ Color Correcting Full Coverage Cream Compact
CC+ Airbrush Perfecting Powder
CC+ Angled Buffing Foundation Brush
Blurred Lines Smooth Fill Lipstick

Muah! xoxo! Tiffany, aka CoachGlitter 🙂

Awesome Video and I’m excited to get my set, but I have a couple questions. This is my first purchase of it products, so can I use the compact powder over the foundation or do I need to buy a loose powder? Can you use the foundation brush it came with to apply the cream foundation? Last really excited to use your videos to help me learn more. Better late than never to learn more about makeup 🙂

Great questions Chris! You can definitely use the new compact pressed powder that comes in the kit over the foundation but keep in mind that it will also add more coverage which may or may not be something you want or need. I personally prefer to use a loose setting powder because it sets the makeup without adding any additional weight or coverage. The brush that comes with the kit could be used to apply a cream foundation. While it’s not my first choice because it’s a bit large, that doesn’t mean it couldn’t be used it multiple ways! I love how you think outside the box and that’s the best part of makeup. There really are no rules! If it works, do it!

I just love your energy and even though you are so very cute your presentation is also very professional.

I have some It products, but have a mixed result with the. So this was super informative. Love the full coverage anti aging concealer but the celebration foundation just sits on my skin in a strange way and looks powdery and kind of old. Maybe it’s just too heavy – or maybe I was heavy handed with it…?

Do you think the powder in this TSV will give me a better result?
    Love

Hi Ida! The Celebration Foundation can appear heavy if it’s applied with the wrong brush. The fluffier the brush the lighter the application and the denser the brush, the heavier/fuller the coverage will be. Using a sponge will give you the heaviest finish and least amount of control. I love the double ended brush to apply the Celebration Foundation as well as all the other types of foundations that I have in my “makeup wardrobe”. I use the small end to spot conceal the areas that need more coverage and then I flip the brush over to the fluffier side to quickly blend it everywhere else on the rest of my face and even out the blotchiness 🙂 The new powder compact is amazing and great for very light coverage or to add a bit more coverage on top of your other foundations 🙂

Thanks – you’re officially my makeup coach now! Really. I think it’s that I used the sponge… Awesome of you to answer! 😉

Loved the video. Thank you so much for explaining the difference between the new and old products. I especially lov your tips about which brush to use. Now I know why the celebration foundation and bye bye pores looks so awful on me. Going to use the proper brushes from now on

I love that Estelle! Yes, using the right brush makes a huge difference in how the products will look! You can take the exact same product like the Celebration Foundation and depending on what “tool” you’re using to apply it with, can make it look dramatically different! Please let me know how it turns out for you!

This is so awesome and thanks for sharing the preorder link. I’ve been using the cc cream and love it. This is such a great deal. What brush would you recommend using to apply the foundation?

Also would you mind sharing your nail color? I love it!

Hi Amy! Of course I don’t mind sharing my nail color! It’s OPI “Cherry Chutney” which comes in both gel and regular polish 🙂

I use that double ended It Cosmetics brush that I call the “Magic Wand” for every type of foundation whether it’s the pressed powder Celebration Foundation, CC+ Cream which is what I wear 90% of the time, the cream concealer which I use as concealer or to contour/highilght with and it works great to use with the bronzer to sculpt the face with too! It’s my #1 fav multi-tasking, use for everything, makes it all look so amazing so quickly, do it all brush! 🙂

Thank you so much for this review and information. I just wanted to say how much I enjoy the very thorough and detailed videos that you post. My mom was never a make up person, and I grew up somewhat as a tomboy, so I feel that in my 30s I’m just now starting to learn about make up, techniques, and tricks. I learned a ton from your videos and reviews and just wanted to say thank you for all that you do!!
