Last week I attended the first retreat with my year long Inner Circle Mastermind run by my amazingly brilliant business coach & mentor, James Wedmore! This is actually my second year as a part of this group and I literally have to pinch myself at times and so grateful to be surrounded by such big hearted, passionate, soul bursting, crazy successful online business owners who are all driven by their need to serve others!
This is just a few of us who are a part of this years group! I was very intentional about being present and in the moment that I didn’t post much on social media or take enough pictures! Luckily there’s three more retreats coming up later this year. I did post this picture and got so many comments asking about my Black & White top so of course I had to share! You can click on any of the photos to check it out or click HERE. I styled the top with simple black high waisted skinny jeans and single strap sandal which I shared during last summer’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. See how you can continuously mix and match the classic, timeless items from your closet all year long for many seasons to come?
This blouse is so flattering on the waistline even if you are a little bloated like I was and felt a bit like a blow fish that week! But the strategically placed tie that is slightly off center and of course the vertical stripes creates the illusion of a smaller waist and overall long and lean look. The sleeves are flowy but not too flowy where it adds too much fabric or bulk. There are two key hole openings both in the front and back and I tend to dress a bit more modestly (although I can’t stand the word) so I simply wore a black cami underneath! As a reference I’m wearing a size 8 and found it to be true to size. I have a smaller waist for my body proportions and wide shoulder/back so this top was made for me. I was able to tie the waist a bit tighter than how it’s shown on the models but you can wear it slouchier as well!
Now i’m tempted to get it in at least one of the other solid colors and deciding between the blush or the olive! Both are colors that I love…although the black is classic and you can never go wrong with that! Click HERE for the solid color options or the photo above for more details!
xoxo!
