Long Wearing Summer Proof Foundation!

1. Primer not only helps make your skin look amazing but it will make your foundation last longer.
2. Less is more! Only apply makeup where you need the coverage and blend it out to even out the rest of your skin! That’s how you make makeup look like skin and not a heavy mask.
3. If it’s wet, you must set! Any foundation or concealer that is wet/emolient must be set with a loose powder.
4. Press & push your products in! Don’t swirl or use brush strokes on your face which only moves your makeup and sheers out the coverage that you just applied perfectly.
5. Setting spray isn’t a must for everyday but is your “extra insurance” that your products will stay on even longer!
6. **Bonus Tip** when you do sweat, do NOT rub your makeup with a tissue or towel. The key is to BLOT!

L’Oreal Infallible Pro Matte 24 Hour Foundation $12.99 This is a great drugstore option for those with oily skin and prefer a very matte look. To be 100% honest, i’m not crazy about most drugstore products when it comes to foundations and concealers. It Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Silk HD Anti-Aging Loose Powder $24.00 If it’s wet, you MUST set! This is a great talc-free powder that makes your skin texture including pores look small, almost airbrushed out! Any foundation or concealer that is wet must be set in order to make it long wearing. Cover FX Matte Loose Setting Powder, Talc-Free Oil Absorbing! This is very similar to the above and one of the few talc-free products that has a matte finish. Urban Decay De-Slick Oil Control Setting Spray I only recommend this to people who have very oily skin otherwise i’d go for the spray above. This one helps to control oil without making your skin feel too tight or like you sprayed hairspray on your face!
